We’re happy to see rain in Sonoma County, not only for the grapes and other crops, but also, the allure of rainy day comfort food!
Happy #FPF

Cheese. It’s one of our favorite subjects.
Taken in the historic walled city of Evora in Portugal of Quejaria Das Romas’ famed sheep’s milk cheese.
Happy New Year!
Here’s the first #fpf of 2014. We hope that your resolutions don’t exclude cheese!
Cheers!
Welcome to the last #fpf for 2013. The studios are closed for the next two weeks while we work on end of year work and getting things back in order for 2014 around here. Clean up, organization and so forth are needed and the last couple weeks of the year is a great time for everyone to get things in order and ready for an exciting 2014. We’ve got a number of interesting projects we’re already working on for 2014 including a documentary on grape variety diversity. We’ve started shooting and that will continue in the winter for a spring 2014 release.
2013 was a great year for us with some great new clients. We’re thankful and humbled by your trust in us. In celebration, this last #fpf for 2013 is “Bubbles”. Cheers! CHOWstudios would love to wish you and yours a very, happy holiday season.
We believe that there’s not much better than bread and cheese, Have a great weekend filled with both!
Ginger & lemongrass along with a great cleaver from Hong Kong we found in a recent prop-shopping expedition.
No doubt we’ll be seeing more of this cleaver in future work!
Cheese. It’s a wonderful thing, especially when it’s from sheep’s milk.
Hollyhock & Cosmos from Garden Variety Cheese.
Have a weekend filled with wonderful tastes!
We’re fortunate enough to live and work in Sonoma County, where the light and the soil provide us with some pretty great results. Just on the other side of the glass doors where we shoot is the studio garden. We were in the studio last weekend cleaning up from the previous week’s work and doing some reorganization of new props and I looked outside and saw that we had another batch of tomatoes, carrots and other things that were ready to be picked. The result is this. We love the character of the carrots and the richness of the tomatoes…. and we love sharing them with you.
Have a great tasting weekend!
